This is the most common and widely used method. However, with just one or two attribute commands, you can get restore your hidden files in a virus-infected flash drive. Before performing the steps, make sure the flash drive is connected properly to your PC or laptop. 

  • First of all, hold down the windows + E key in order to open This PC. 
  • Now, note down the alphabetic letter that your flash drive has. Suppose it’s Getdroidtips(D):, this means that the Driver letter is D.
  • After that, open the command prompt box using Run as Administrator rights. 
  • Now use the attribute command (here D is the drive name) and hit the enter key.
attrib -s -h *.* /S /D 
  • In case the above command doesn’t work for you, then you can try this command and hit the enter key:
attrib d:*.* /d /s -h -r 

This method won’t delete your hidden file. Instead, it just reset the permissions so that you can easily get back your hidden files. 

Method 2: Use a Professional Pendrive Recovery Tool

If you find that you are not able to perform the method, one of the above methods won’t help you. Then, you can go with the professional pen drive recovery tool.
