Huawei has launched three different smartphones this year. The latest Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5I and Nova 5 Pro are the latest offerings by the company. These devices are flagship devices and priced roughly around 30,000 INR to 40,000 INR. At this price range, customers want to know whether these devices come with waterproof certifications or not. To find that, today we will perform a waterproof test on all these devices.
Is Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i, and Nova 5 Pro Waterproof device?
In order to sustain a smartphone underwater, it must be waterproof. A waterproof device always comes with an official IP67 or IP68 waterproof certification. These IP ratings are an international standard which is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of modern smartphones. These IP ratings are presented in the form of IP followed by two numbers.
While looking at the official specs list of all the devices, we can’t find any official IP rating for them. This means that these devices don’t come with waterproof protection. However, despite that, these devices might be splashproof and dustproof. So we will conduct a waterproof test to find out a clear result.
