1. Verify the Cable Connectivity

  • Click on Next. This should update the existing sound driver back to Microsoft’s standard drivers.

Update to the latest Logitech Audio Driver:

  • Open Device Manager > Right-click on Properties.
  • Click on the Driver tab > Click on Update Driver.
  • Then select Browse my computer for driver software.
  • Click on the Browse option of Search for drivers in this location: C:\ProgramData\LGHUB\depots\2xxxx\driver_audio\. [If you’ve installed the Logitech G HUB software to another location the, head over there]
  • Now, click on Next to update to the latest audio driver.

8. Uninstall the Audio Device from Device Manager

If in case, the particular issue persists, then make sure to uninstall the Audio Device from Device Manager by following the steps below:

  • Go to Device Manager > Click on View at the top.
  • Select View devices by the container.
  • Look for your device in the list and expand it. Check for the Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headset name.
  • Now, right-click on it > Select Uninstall device.
  • Click on Delete the driver software for this device > Click on Uninstall.
  • Unplug the device and plug it back into another USB port. It should be detected in G HUB.
  • Logitech G HUB should download the driver for your device automatically.

9. Audio Device Not Recognized

Sometimes the connected audio device may not be detected or recognized by the Logitech G HUB software for some unfortunate reasons. If that’s happening to you, make sure to check the steps below:

  • Right-click on the Start Menu to open up the Quick Access Menu.
  • Click on Device Manager from the list to open the interface.
  • You’ll need to double-click on the Logitech G Pro X headset from the list to expand it.
  • Right-click on the device name and select Uninstall device.
  • Click on Delete the driver software for this device > Click on Uninstall.
  • Unplug the device and plug it back into another USB port.
  • It should be detected in Logitech G HUB and the driver will be downloaded automatically.

10. Restore Logitech G HUB with Default Settings

Try restoring the Logitech G HUB software settings to the default one by following the steps below:

  • Exit Logitech G HUB by right-clicking on the icon in the Windows tray from the taskbar.
  • Select Quit > Head over to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\LGHUB.
  • Make sure to find out the settings.db file and copy this file to a different drive as a backup.
  • Now, go to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\LGHUB and Delete the settings.db file in the Logitech G HUB folder.
  • Once done, launch the Logitech G HUB software and you’ll notice that all the settings have been set back to default.

11. Check the default sound device

In most scenarios, the headset isn’t connected as the default sound device. You should check the default sound device on the PC by following the steps below.

  • Click on the Windows icon to open the Start menu > Open Control Panel by searching it.
  • Make sure to select Sounds > Go to the Recording tab.
  • Enable the Logitech G Pro X headset microphone.
  • Then click on the Microphone and click on Set Default.
  • Now, right-click on the microphone > Select Properties.
  • Head over to the Levels tab > Make sure to drag the volume slider to the right side to maximize the sound.
  • Once done, click on Apply and then OK to save changes.

12. Try updating Audio Driver

Sometimes issues with the audio driver may cause several problems during the connectivity or usage of the headset. You should update the sound driver on the PC to fix all kinds of audio-related issues on the system (if any). To do so:

  • Press Windows + X keys to open the Quick Link Menu.
  • Now, click on Device Manager from the list > Double-click on Sound, Video, and Game Controllers.
  • Right-click on the correct audio device that you’re using.
  • Next, select Update driver > Choose to Search automatically for drivers.
  • If there is an update available, the system will automatically download & install it.
  • Once done, restart the computer to apply changes.

13. Reinstall Logitech G HUB

  1. i was playing and right side of headset turned off. its not working, i bought it 4 months ago and i was not using it 2 months, so this means im using 2 months as i read many of costumers have same issue with this headset so what to do now?
