How to craft the Jerky Rack?
To craft the Jerky Rack, you will need to collect two items. First is the bombardier parts that you can salvage from bombardier beetles. And second is the woven fiber which you can get from plants.
Bombardier beetles are not that rare in the backyard, but these are not some weak insects either. These are some strong foes, and going up against them unprepared can prove to be very costly to you. You can spot these beetles almost anywhere on the map, but these are mostly present in the northwest and southeast regions of it.
Now when you go up against them, remember that these gas-tossing insects and it is better to take care of them from a distance. So if you have a bow, try using it to kill the beetle. Once you have killed it, you will find some bombardier parts lying around. Take them to your lab and analyze them, and after that, they are ready to be used for the Jerky Rack. You will need a total of five bombardier parts for the jerky rack.
Now, as for the woven fiber, they are quite easy to get as they are available almost everywhere in the game. All you need to do is refine the plant parts to harvest it. You will need a total of six woven fiber for the jerky rack. Once you have these on you, go to the crafting table and craft yourself a Jerky Rack. After that, catch any small edible insect and place its meat on the rack. It will become jerky, and you can then eat it to fill up your hunger meter.
