With the recently released statement by OPPO, the company promised to roll the ColorOS 12.0 based on Android 12 for their flagship starting from early October 2021. In their device list, they have not included the Oppo A15 and A15S.

Oppo A15 Device Overview

The Oppo A15 comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor that’s coupled with PowerVR GE8320 graphics, Android 10 (ColorOS 7.2), etc. It sports a 6.52-inches IPS LCD display that comes with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio screen, up to 480 nits typical brightness, and more.

Talking about the memory capacity, the Oppo A15 is paired with a 2GB/3GB of RAM option, 32GB of internal storage variant along with the expandable memory option. It has a triple rear camera setup of a 13MP (f/2.2, wide), a 2MP (f/2.4, macro), a 2MP (f/2.4, depth) lens along with the PDAF, HDR, Panorama, an LED flash, etc. It packs a 5MP (f/2.4, wide) selfie camera with HDR mode.

The device features a 4,230mAh battery without any fast charging support. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, FM Radio, MicroUSB 2.0, USB OTG, etc. While the handset packs a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, etc.

Oppo A15S Device Overview

The Oppo A15S has a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels at a pixel density of 270 ppi. It’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 10 on top of ColorOS 7.2 out of the box. The handset packs a triple rear camera setup of a 13MP (wide, f/2.2) + 2MP (macro, f/2.4) + 2MP (depth, f/2.4) lens that includes PDAF, an LED flash, HDR, Panorama mode, etc.

While the device sports an 8MP selfie camera on the front side with a wide-angle lens. This dual Nano-SIM device supports 4G VoLTE apart from a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, MicroUSB 2.0 charging port, etc. In terms of the sensors, it packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, etc. Talking about the power reserve capacity, it has a 5,000mAh battery with a standard 10W charging.
