New updates on January 22, 2021: Today Xiaomi India finally rolled the Android 11 update to Poco X2 with software version V188.8.131.52.RGHINXM. The update brings all-new Andriod 11 features on top.
New updates are added on January 4, 2021: Finally, the Android 11 stable update is now out for the Redmi K30 aka Poco X2 in China. This also suggests that its global counterpart, the Poco X2 will receive the stable Android 11 update soon in other regions. The update along with bringing all new features of Android 11 also bumps the security patch level to December 2020. Here is the changelog:

New updates are added on October 20, 2020: Xiaomi has finally added the Poco X2 to the Android 11-based beta program with the latest MIUI 12 beta 20.10.19 build. Note that the actual device that has been added is the Redmi K30 4G. It is sold as Poco X2 in the global market. The new Android 11 nightly builds will be released as a weekly (Thursday) build and later into a stable build. Users who wish to install these nightly builds on their devices, have to manually install them as they are not available as OTA updates. In order to get Android 11, users would have to install the MIUI 12 beta 20.10.19 nightly build manually to get Android 11. However, nothing can be said for sure about the Poco X2 as the MIUI 12 beta Android 11 update is available for its Chinese counterpart.
New updates are added on September 18, 2020: New announcement states that the Poco X2 has been suspended from the regular update v20.9.21 due to a major Android version upgrading. This hints that the device might pickup the Android 11-based MIUI 12 beta update in the near future.
New updates are added on July 7, 2020: Xiaomi is not a name to reckon with when it comes to updating its devices with the latest Android updates. But, it has performed well, in making the Android 11 Beta 1 update for its eligible phones, soon after it was made available for all OEMs. And in line with this, some interesting news regarding Poco X2 Android 11 has popped up from the official Twitter handle of Poco. For the unaware, Poco X2 comes with Android 10 out of the box and Android 11 will be the device’s first OS update. And in the official post, Poco has confirmed that the Android 11 update for Poco X2 will be pushed very soon. In we take a cue and apply our understanding of this, Poco might be talking about the Poco X2 Android 11 Beta 1 update, which is already available for other OEM devices, including Xiaomi.

Poco X2 was released a few weeks ago and with its 120Hz refresh rate display at the price of a mid-ranger, has made it a hit product of the POCO brand. To recall, the Poco X2 comes with a Snapdragon 730G, 6/8 GB of RAM, a massive 4500 mAh battery, a 6.67-inch display. In the camera department, it comes with a quad-camera setup with a 64 MP primary camera and a dual 20 + 2 MP front camera. The device although came with Android 10 update out of the box, is awaiting good news which has been officially confirmed.
You might remember that Google has finally pushed in the first Android 11 developer preview for the Pixel devices.
