4. Ensure the Mic is Turned On
If in case, the mic is turned off for some reason then you may encounter multiple issues with the gameplay. You should follow the steps below to turn on the mic from the Windows system.
- Press the Windows + I keys to open Windows Settings.
- Click on Privacy > Go to Microphone in the left pane.

- Reboot the console to change effects and then sign back into your Xbox account again.
For PlayStation:
- On your PlayStation 4 go to the Settings and access the Account Management tab.

- First, go to the Settings of your PS5.
- After that, click on User Accounts and select the Other option.

- Once done, wait for at least 2 minutes before signing back into your Playstation Network account. Join another voice chat afterward to check if the problem is solved.
