Realme 5 Pro – Device Overview
We will cut to the chase here. The Realme 5 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset which is coupled with 4-8 GB of RAM. The device offers 64/128GB of onboard storage capacity. It comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box but it has already been running on Android 10 for quite a few months and Android 11 may be down the line for the device. Talking about the cameras, it has a quad-camera setup with a primary 48MP wide-angle lens, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro lens. The Realme 5 Pro is capable of recording 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, and 720p@960fps.
The front of the device has a 6.3-inch display, with a 19.5:9 ratio and 409 ppi density. The waterdrop notch houses a 16MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 4035 mAh battery which supports fast-charging up to 20W. The technology is called VOOC 3.0. Notably, the Realme 5 Pro is available in three colors, i.e. Crystal Green, Crystal Blue, Chroma White.

How To Check For Software Updates On Realme 5 Pro?
Smartphone OEMs usually push the latest software updates via OTA. This means that it may take a while before hitting all the units across all the regions. However, users can always check for the new update notification by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on System Updates.
- It will start checking for new updates.
- If there is a new update available then, you can tap on the update to download it.
How To Manually Flash Firmware On Your Realme 5 Pro?
Yes, you can manually update your Realme 5 Pro or in fact, any Realme device manually. All you need to do is to have the latest update package zip file with you, which we have provided in the software update tracker list above. However, before you begin manual flashing of the firmware on your Realme 5 Pro, please make sure that you have taken a backup of the data stored on your device.
Also, keep the battery of your phone charged to about 50% or more. More importantly, download the appropriate firmware compatible with your device to avoid any issues.

- Paste the firmware file in the root directory of your internal storage. Avoid placing the file inside any folder.
