How to get Shinx in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC

One of the electric-type Pokemon is the Shinx which is making a return to the Pokemon Swords and Shield Isle of Armor. Notably, Shinx are weak against ground type moves. Shinx is quite good at intimidating rival Pokemon while entering the battle ultimately lowering their Attack Stat and it deals more damage when Shinx is up against any Pokemon of the same gender. And on the opposite side, it deals less damage to opponents of a different gender.

How to get Shinx in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC?

Although it is a bit easier to capture Shinx, you are required to be present at the correct location in the correct weather condition because they are not available throughout the day. In order to find Shinx in Pokemon Swords and Shield Isle of Armor, you need to head over to the north and northwest border of the Isle of Armor. Here are some of the locations:

  • Challenge Beach
  • Training Lowlands
  • Challenge Road
  • Potbottom Desert

Now once you are at any of these locations, you need to make sure that you wait for the rain and thunderstorm weather conditions in order to lure out Pokemon. These are the only viable weather conditions in which you would find the Pokemon. They are readily available to catch and once you find one, you simply need to capture it like any other Pokemon and add it to your list. You can evolve Shinx into Luxio (Level 15) and Luxray (Level 30).
