Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Rise and Fall Puzzle Solution

As we have mentioned, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game that contains loads of puzzles and challenges for players to face. One such challenge is the Ekochiu Shrine. This Shrine trial requires you to use the Recall ability to manipulate objects. If you’re stuck on this one, we have the solution.

First of all, of course, you need to locate the Shrine. The Ekochiu Shrine is in the Great Hyrule Forest on a hill north of the Woodland Stable. You need to solve three Rise and Fall puzzles to get to the end and get the Light of Blessing. There’s also an optional chest that you can find in the Shrine.

The first puzzle is the easiest, so you shouldn’t have a tough time getting through. To solve the first puzzle in the Ekochiu Shrine, the first thing you need to do is to step on the nearby button. This will move a block to the other side of the room. Now, you need to wait for it to come back, then get on the block. Once you are on the block, you can use Recall to move Link to the other side with it.

Second Rise and Fall Puzzle Solution

The second puzzle room contains an optional chest along with the puzzle. Whether you want to open the chest or not, the puzzle solution is the same. You must wait until a block falls into the water, use Recall, then jump on the block. It will carry you to the entrance to the next chamber. Chances are, you do want the chest. So, you must jump and glide back down to the platform on the left-hand side when looking back. When you open the Ekochiu chest, you will get a Zonaite Shield.

Third Rise and Fall Puzzle Solution

For the final Rise and Fall puzzle, you need to jump down to the right-hand side of the chamber. Then, use Ultrahand to pick up the block, and place it in the small square area on top of a slightly elevated surface. After climbing up the ladder, back to the start of the last chamber, you must step on the switch. The block will go flying up into the air, then come back down again.

Now you can go down and stand on the block, then use Recall to launch the block back into the air with Link on it this time. Finally, you must jump and glide down to the green circle on the other side of the room and examine it to obtain your Light of Blessing.

We hope that this guide helped you complete the Rise and Fall puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. With these solutions, you should be able to complete the Ekochiu Shrine without struggling too much. Also, there are many other Shrines in Tears of the Kingdom that present their own unique challenges for players to overcome.
