Whenever the mobile carrier or smartphone brand roll out a new software update to the compatible devices, the OTA update notification comes automatically. However, if your device hasn’t received any update normally, you can manually check for the OTA update.
Make sure to connect your device to a working Wi-Fi connection and charge your device battery up to 60% at least for a smoother process.
Now, go to the Device Settings menu. Head over to the System Update > Check for the updates. If the new software update is available, then Download and Install it simply.
T-Mobile offers quite faster and consistent software updates if released from the manufacturer. So, if there is an update available for the device, T-Mobile will deliver it as early as possible.
