Here are some methods that you can use to fix this particular issue on your new iPhone 13. So, make sure to perform them carefully:

#1. Remove The Phone Case

If you are using a bulky phone case, then it might be possible that it prevents or block the sensor of your iPhone 13. So, try using your iPhone without the back case. This will surely fix the tap to wake on iPhone devices that don’t work issue.

#2. Go to Settings and enable Tap to Wake.

Your buddies may have turned off the tap to wake feature in the settings while checking out your new iPhone cell phone.

Open the Settings app and hover to Display> Ambient Display to activate it. Turn on the tap to screen feature. With a single touch, the function will not turn on the Display. Instead, it will activate the device’s ambient display mode. You may have a look at the missed calls and alerts.

#3. Disable the Adaptive Brightness feature.

NOTE: Recalibrating the phone’s proximity sensor from the device Factory Mode is another approach to address the iPhone ‘Tap to Wake’ problem. However, the success rate so far has been minimal, which is why we haven’t discussed it here.
