Most of the cards have their expiry date mentioned on the card itself. It means that the card can’t be used on any platforms after the given time frame. As most of us do not generally look at the expiry date, there might be chances that you are trying to add one of these old cards on Venmo. Due to the rise of fraudsters, we sometimes disable Online and POS transactions on our cards for our safety. This “Temporary Block” helps us to protect ourselves from these frauds and even when we try to do an unwanted transaction. As the name suggests, it will temporarily block the card and you won’t be able to use it anywhere. As a result, you won’t be able to add the card to Venmo too.
