It seems that you are the owner of a Verizon Galaxy S7, which is either your primary Android device or a newly purchased one. Alternatively, you may have acquired a second-hand Verizon Galaxy S7. In any case, you have recently performed a Factory Data Reset on your device, possibly to clear all data or fix some performance issues such as lags or hangs.
However, as a result of the reset, you are now unable to use your Samsung Galaxy S7 due to the Factory Reset Protection lock. Every time you attempt to use your phone, you are greeted with a warning message stating: “This device was reset, to continue to sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device.” It’s understandable if you have forgotten your account credentials and are looking for a way to bypass this lock. Fortunately, you can achieve this by using the Combination ROM designed for your specific Samsung device model SM-G930V.
What is FRP Lock?
FRP Lock stands for Factory Reset Protection Lock, a security feature implemented by Android to prevent unauthorized access to a device after a factory reset. It was introduced in Android 5.1 Lollipop and is now a standard security feature on all Android devices running Android 5.1 or higher.
When FRP Lock is enabled, if someone performs a factory reset on the device without first removing their Google account from the device, the device will require the same Google account username and password that was previously used on the device before it can be accessed again. This prevents someone from accessing the device after it has been reset without the owner’s permission.
