With waterproof certification, thee devices will hold more values and can provide more security to the users.
A waterproof smartphone is extremely hard and expensive to make. This is the reason most smartphone companies fail to do so. Is Wiko View 3, View 3 Pro or View 3 Lite Waterproof device
For any device to be waterproof, it must possess some special IP rating. So far we don’t have any official IP68 waterproof ratings for any of these devices. But we will conduct an individual waterproof test for all these devices and see if any of them can resist water damage. If anyone of them is resilient against water damage then it will be a great purchasing point fo this smartphone.
Wiko View 3 Lite Device Specifications
Wiko View 3 Lite is the perfect budget smartphone for a gift. The build of the phone is light and very comfy on the hands. As the name ‘Lite’ it suggests that the features of the phone will be a bit similar to Wiko view 3 but since it is the lite version it will have a little decrease of power and features. The phone has 6 inches of IPS display capable of generating 720 x 1520 pixels of resolution. Since the phone has capacitive touchscreen the phone supports multi-touch.
The rear camera has 12MP with a flash and the front has 4.92MP which is not that great but still works.
View 3 Lite runs on Android 9 Pie Go edition operating system and has the CPU of 4x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A53, 4x 1.65 GHz ARM Cortex-A53, having 8 cores makes the phone a beast. It has ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. View 3 Lite has less RAM and internal storage compared to other too, it has 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which is decent. Even more, it supports microSD and also dual nano SIMs. All the connectivity options like WLAN, USB, Bluetooth, headphone jack and sensors like Proximity, accelerometer and gyro are available. There is no fingerprint support. The phone has non-removal 4000 mAh li-polymer battery.
Wiko View 3 Lite Waterproof Test
The device has all the essential features as low budget it is but it is not a waterproof device. Their aren’t any IP ratings on Wiko iew3 Lite on any site so therefore we can assume it is not waterproof.

However, the phone shows a little bit of water-resistant from splashes of water due to its 2D curved glass display but it is not safe to drop the phone in water.
Wiko View 3 Device Specifications
Wiko View 3 was launched recently on May 2019 and it is a budget smartphone with modern-day necessary features. The phone screen size is 6.2 inches, capable of giving you 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. View 3 comes with 3GB of ram and 64Gb of internal storage which is decent for most of the work and apps you will install on your smartphone. However, the phone also supports microSD and dual-nano SIM’s.
It has a Fingerprint sensor for better security. The rear camera is 12MP with LED flash and the front camera has 8MP which is decent for clicking pictures. View 3 supports 4G and all the other common usual connectivity features that are needed on these days. However, the phone does not support wireless charging and it has 4000 mAh battery which is sure to last for 2 days with common usage. View 3 runs on Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Android Pie OS. It also has the 2.0 USB and Headphone jack support. All over, all the necessary technologies are there in Wiko view 3.
Wiko View 3 Waterproof Test
There is no official report from waterproof testing of Wiko View 3 and on the official site, there is no sign of any IP ratings for View 3. On other trusted sites they all have declared no, So it is assumed that Wiko View 3 is not waterproof.

Wiko View 3 Pro Device Specifications
Wiko View 3 pro’s features are similar to Wiko view 3 but it has a little boost on some of its features. View 3 pro was also launched in May of 2019 with View 3 but it is not a budget smartphone its price is little high to be on a budget. The phone’s screen size is 6.3 inches with an IPS LCD display which has a capacitive touchscreen. Thus, the phone supports Multi-touch. View 3 pro’s screen is capable of 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution with 16M colours. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie Operating system and has Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone has a chipset of Mediatek MT6771 Helio P60. Wiko View 3 Pro has 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage which is more than enough for storage or to install apps, you can install more than a thousand apps on the phone. Even more, view 3 pro supports microSD card slot to extend its memory more.
The phone supports dual nano SIM’s however if you are using a microSD card you can only install one SIM at a time because of microSD shares a SIM slot.
The rear camera has triple cameras with 12 MP, 27mm (wide), 13 MP (ultrawide) and 5 MP(depth) which is sure to give you some 4K high-resolution images. There is also an LED flash. The front camera has 16MP with HDR which is perfect for high-resolution selfies.
Sensors like Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass are all present on the phone. All the connectivity services like WLAN, USB, Bluetooth ad headphone jack are all supported. View 3 Pro has a battery of 4000mAh Non-removable Li-Po which is same as View 3.
Wiko View 3 Pro Waterroof Test
Though the smartphone has lots of top-notch technologies it is not a waterproof device. We can say that because there are no IP ratings for Wiko View 3 not even on the official site.

However, the curved glass display makes the phone a little bit of water-resistant, but it is not safe to say it is waterproof because the phone can be damaged if it is exposed too much in the water.

As you can see from the waterproof test results, none of these devices are actually waterproof. They might sustain themselves with some accidental water splashes or coffee spills, but they are not actually waterproof devices.

Conclusion
It turns out that none of the new devices from Wiko are actually waterprof. And they don’t even have spalshproof ratings, so they are no completely splashproof as well. This means they will get water damage pretty easily. So please keep this mind while purchasing or shopping for the new Wiko View 3, View 3 Pro or View 3 Lite devices, as in near feature they will be vulnerable to water.
