Update December 08, 2023: OnePlus has officially released the OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 Stable Update for the OnePlus 11R. The update is rolling out in India right now. Users can install the update by going to Settings > About phone > Software update > OxygenOS version > Download and install. 

Update November 16, 2023: OnePlus has officially released the OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 Stable Update for the OnePlus 11. The update is currently rolling out in India only. To install the update, go to Settings > About phone > Software update > tap on OxygenOS version > Download and install. 

Update November 02, 2023: OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14 Beta 4 update for the OnePlus 11. The update is currently available in India but should be expanding to other regions soon. We can expect the stable OxygenOS 14 to be released soon.

Update October 17, 2023: OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta based on Android 14 for the OnePlus 11R. Users can download the Beta from Settings > About device > OxygenOS version > three dots > Beta program.

Update October 16, 2023: OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 14 Beta 3 based on Android 14 for the OnePlus 11. The update brings some stability improvements to the system as well as app improvements. The update is currently only available in India but NA will be added soon.

Update September 26, 2023: OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 for the OnePlus 11. The update is currently only available in North America and India. Here is the changelog:

  • Fixes an issue that might cause some third-party apps to crash.
  • Fixes a screen flicker issue that might occur when certain apps are opened.

  • Use the camera to take photos with the AI function on full screen, the probability of showing black edges on both sides of the film

  • Possibly no reminder when turning on screen recording.

Update October 04, 2023: Google has released Android 14 alongside the Pixel 8 series. The new version of Android brings a host of new features and improvements to the operating system. Users with a Pixel 4a 5G and later can install the update right away. Other users have to wait for their OEMs to release the update for their device.

Update September 25, 2023: OnePlus has officially announced OxygenOS 14 and all the features that it will offer. The company had already revealed the list of eligible devices and the release timeline. Some of the notable features of OxygenOS 14 are Auto Pixelate 2.0, Photo Permission Management, Smart Cutout, File Dock, Auqamorphic sounds and more. Users with an eligible device can install the update when it’s available.

Update September 21, 2023: Although the stable Android 14 release is still a few weeks away, Google has started rolling out the first quarterly major update i.e., Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1. QPR stands for Quarterly Platform Release. The Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1 comes with big fixes and new features that will make their way to the stable release in December Pixel Feature Drop.

Update September 12, 2023: OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14 based Android 14 Open Beta for the OnePlus 11. This is the first ever open beta of Android 14 on a OnePlus device. The update will be only available in North America and India for 5000 users. Users in North America have to download the update package and install it manually. Update September 07, 2023: Google has now announced Android 14 Beta 5.3. Users who are already on the Beta 5.2 will get this via an OTA update. Other users can install it using the factory image too. The new beta update brings a handful of bug fixes and improvements to Android 14. Also, the stable release of Android 14 has been pushed back to October 4th. We don’t know how this is going to affect the release of OxygenOS 14 on September 14.

Update August 31, 2023: OnePlus community app states that OnePlus will release OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 on September 24. You can expect the OnePlus 11 and 11R to be among the first OnePlus devices to get the update.

Update, August 31, 2023: Brought to light by a post on X (Twitter), OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta based on Android 14 for some OnePlus 11R users. Users can submit an application via the Oxygen Updater app or the OnePlus Community and enjoy the update. For now, the update is only available for the Indian users.

Update August 26, 2023: Google is now rolling out the Android 14 Beta 5.2 for the Pixel Tablet and the Pixel Fold. If you have one, you can update the devices to the latest version. As for the stable release, it seems to be delayed until September. The new update brings a ton of bug fixes to these devices including unresponsive fingerprint issues, docking issues with the Pixel Tablet, screen flickering, and more.

Update August 19, 2023: Unfortunately, Google’s promise wasn’t true. Google has released the Android 14 Beta 5.1 update for the Pixel devices. The update is being rolled out to Pixel devices that are eligible. The release date for the stable Android 14 update remains unknown.

Update August 12, 2023: Google has just announced the Android 14 Beta 5. The update brings enhancements, bug fixes, and the addition of some new features to Android 14. Those who use Pixel devices can install the update on their devices. However, the stable release is projected to be postponed until late August.

Update July 27, 2023: Android 14 Beta 4.1 has been released. This release is packed with numerous bug fixes aimed at enhancing Pixel devices’ performance, including the Pixel Fold. With the launch of Beta 4.1, it appears that the Android 14 Beta versions are winding down, paving the way for the stable release of Android 14. Moreover, OnePlus is expected to follow suit and release the beta update for additional devices, including the OnePlus 11R, soon.
