The Chinese smartphone OEM OnePlus has recently launched the much-awaited OxygenOS 11 (Open Beta) skin based on Android 11 for its latest flagship OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The overall user interface, system elements, one-handed usage optimizations, a new font, etc has been included in OxygenOS 11 (mostly inspired by Samsung’s One UI). Additionally, the all-new OxygenOS 11 also comes with a live wallpaper that you can download from the link below.
A big thanks to the linuxt, XDA Recognized Contributor for sharing this port. The live wallpaper has been extracted from the OxygenOS Open Beta 1 build of OnePlus 8. Whereas the live wallpaper also includes some cool animation effects with the moving elements.
So, whenever you turn on the lock screen and unlock it, the live wallpaper elements are moving around throughout the home screen. Additionally, the wallpaper colors also dynamically keep changing according to the time of the day.
Download OxygenOS 11 Live Wallpaper (Port) for any Android device
According to the XDA Developers, they’ve tested out this live wallpaper on ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro and OPPO Find X2 Pro models. Obviously, the live wallpaper works seamlessly. As the ported live wallpaper APK file has the SDK version of 26 (minimum), the particular live wallpaper should work on all Android devices running Android 8.0 Oreo or higher.
Check out the live wallpaper preview video here:
However, it may not perform well or even crash on some of the Android devices due to the OpenGL render. That means if your device delivers a better OpenGL performance then the live wallpaper will look even more fluid than other devices similar to the OnePlus 8/8 Pro.
So, you’ll just need to download the APK file from the link below and install it as usual. Once installed, you can be able to see the installed live wallpaper on the device’s stock wallpaper picker. However, if in case, you can’t see the ported wallpaper there, just install the Google Wallpaper app (Play Store) and you’ll find the wallpaper.
That’s it, guys. Till then stay tuned for more info. Feel free to ask in the comment below.
