Where is Heat Resistance Armor Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The thrilling universe of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom serves a hearty platter of adventures and challenges. Among them is the task of obtaining heat-resistant armor, the Desert Voe Set, a crucial asset while exploring the scorching Gerudo Desert. This guide will navigate you through the process of securing this invaluable armor.

Embarking on the Quest for the Desert Voe Headband

Your journey commences at the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. From here, chart your way towards the Gerudo Desert. Halfway through the journey, you’ll encounter the Kara Kara Bazaar, a marketplace with an array of interesting items.

Seek out a seller named Suala, who can be identified by her talks about heat. Interact with her to purchase the Desert Voe Headband, your first piece of heat-resistant armor, for 450 rupees. After acquiring it, equip the headband from your inventory.

Remember, the Desert Voe Headband, apart from its heat resistance, is a part of the larger Desert Voe Set. The remaining pieces can be bought from the Fashion Passion Shop, located behind the shop in Gerudo Town.

Journey to Gerudo Town and the Acquisition of the Desert Voe Spaulder and Trousers

After securing the headband, your next destination is Gerudo Town. While it’s possible to glide there if you’re close enough or have ample stamina, it’s recommended to first stop by the Kara Kara Bazaar.

Activate the nearby Mayatat Shrine to establish a Travel Point. Near this Shrine, approach a Sand Seal silently and press the A-button when prompted. Head towards the Desert Rift, ensuring you avoid the columns of sand. Once you’re out in the desert, rely on map coordinates as the map will become staticky and unreadable.

Gerudo Town, now deserted and in ruins due to The Upheaval, is your destination for the remaining pieces of the Desert Voe Set. The coordinates for Gerudo Town are -3875, -2864, 0043.

Upon reaching Gerudo Town, climb atop the Gerudo Chief’s room and activate the Soryotanog Shrine. Your next task is to find the Gerudo Secret Shop. To access it, you’ll have to navigate the dried-up waterway near the front gate and jump into the sewers.

Equip a weapon fused with a rock or boulder and break down the wall. Clear enough rocks to reveal Rusty Claymores and some Rocks. Equip the Rusty Claymore, switch to the Fuse Ability, and fuse them together to create a Rock Hammer. Take the left path at the split, climb up the wall to another set of breakable walls, and clear your path to a room with three pillars (coordinates: -3796, -2924, 0032).

Switch to the Ascend Ability, and ascend into the ceiling above. You’ll emerge in the Gerudo Secret Shop, where you can find the Desert Voe Spaulder and Desert Voe Trousers. The prices are as follows:

  • Desert Voe Headband: 450 Rupees
  • Desert Voe Spaulder: 1300 Rupees
  • Desert Voe Trousers: 650 Rupees

Each piece of the Gerudo Set offers a base 3 Defense when bought. If you’re short on Rupees, consider selling your gems or finding Blupees.

Securing the Desert Voe Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an exhilarating quest, offering both a challenge and the chance to explore the mesmerizing Gerudo Desert. We hope this guide helps you in your quest. Happy gaming!
