Huawei Honor VoWiFi supported device: WiFi calling feature coming soon

After launching the Wi-Fi Calling service or VoWiFi service by Airtel and Reliance Jio in India, most of the smartphone users are waiting for the firmware update to get compatible with it. Meanwhile, some of the device users are also waiting for getting enlisted with their device model officially for the Airtel or Jio Wi-Fi Calling. If you’ve already visited the official website of the Airtel Wi-Fi Calling and Reliance Jio Wi-Fi Calling page, you may have noticed that there is no Huawei and Honor brand listed yet. So, most of the Huawei and Honor handset users are asking for this new feature on their devices and website listing as well. In reply, the official Huawei and Honor Twitter handles have responded to queries to their users.

Recently, both the Huawei India and Honor India official Twitter handles mentioned that the VoWiFi calling features are under testing and all the users should keep an eye on the official pages or HiCare app for more information. Although, it will take more time to provide a bunch of compatible device list by Huawei and Honor. But here we’ve provided some of the Huawei and Honor smartphone models that support the VoWiFi feature officially.

Huawei Honor VoWiFi supported device: Wi-Fi Calling

Currently, there are a couple of devices available that supports Wi-Fi calling feature but haven’t included in the compatible list of devices for Wi-Fi calling by Airtel and Jio yet. So, we will expect that both the telecommunication companies will upgrade the supported device list with more brands and models including Huawei & Honor. We will keep updating this post whenever new information available.

However, this is an initial days after releasing the Wi-Fi Calling feature by both the cellular network companies. So, it’s expected that more and more brands & device models will be included very soon. Meanwhile, Honor India’s official Twitter handle has replied to a tweet that they’re continuously working to provide the latest features and technology to its customers. On the other side, Xiaomi Android One devices don’t support the VoWiFi feature for some unfortunate reasons.
