  1. First of all, you require to shutdown your Macbook and then, after 5 seconds, turn it on. But, before it gets booted completely, you need to press and hold the key combination:
  2. option (alt) + command + P + R
  3. You need to hold these keys for around 20-30 seconds before releasing them. After that, you will notice that your Macbook appears to start. But, before that, you have to release the keys. So, here are two things: In a few MacBooks, you will notice that the startup pings two times. While in some Mack books that have Apple T2 Security Chip, you have to release the keys after the Apple Logo appears at startup.
