However, you are likely to be shocked if what you see is a black screen after the upgrade because your Mac doesn’t boot. Methods to Fix macOS Ventura Black Screen issue

1. Check for power supply

Lack of power can mess up your upgrade. If you are using a Mac that is not plugged into it and its power cable is not plugged in properly, it won’t boot. MacBooks, on the other hand, run on battery power. However, upgrades are very often draining, and it is quite possible that not plugging in your device for charging during the upgrade has caused all the trouble.
