Huawei Honor 30
Huawei is supposed to launch Honor 30 on 21 April 2020. However, pre-orders are already on their way. The phone has a gorgeous and metallic look to it. But if the Huawei Honor 30 is a waterproof device or not, it is not yet confirmed.

Huawei Honor 30 has an FHD+ resolution OLED display with 6.53-inches of screen size. It runs on a new Kirin 985 5G chipset with the main core of Cortex-A76, Cortex-A76, and four Cortex-A55 processors. The phone has Mali-G77 and Kirin ISP 5.0 GPU, which enables you to have professional-level camera performance, also noise reduction. Honor 30 runs on Android 10 and Magic UI which have a custom skin. Honor 30 supports Dual nano-SIMs. On the rear end of the device, the phone has quad cameras of 40 MP, 8 MP, 16 MP, and 2MP for high-level photography also has an LED flash. On the front, the phone has a dual selfie camera of 32MP and 8MP.

Since there is an IP53 rating for Honor 30, we can assume that the phone is water-resistant and splash-proof. The phone will be able to survive 30 minutes under 1.5 meters of water, that’s its maximum limit, but it is not exactly waterproof since the water will damage many parts of the phone.

Honour 30 Pro plus has an IP rating of IP54, so we say that it is water-resistant and splash-proof, but the phone is not waterproof because IP54 is a low rating on the scale. Thus means water will definitely cause damage to your phone. However, you can expect that the phone will be protected from splashes of water.
Conclusion
