Taiwanese OEM Asus released the Asus Zenfone 6 or Asus 6Z back in May 2019. It packs all the high-end specs like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is coupled with 6/8GB of RAM. It offers 64/128/256 GB of onboard storage. The phone comes with UFS 2.1 for faster data transfer. The display is an IPS LCD panel with a 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio and comes with 403 PPI. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and supports HDR10.
Talking about the camera, it comes with a dual-camera setup with a 48MP primary lens and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. This module is capable of recording 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@480fps, and has gyro-EIS. For selfies, the phone comes equipped with a motorized flip module which makes the primary camera module, the cameras for the front shooter. So, you can capture stunning high-detailed selfies.

Under the hood, it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with fast charging 18W and Quick Charge 4.0 and reverse charging of 10W. The fingerprint is mounted on the back of the phone. It comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box and now sits at Android 10 OS.

How To Manually Check For Update In Asus Zenfone 6/Asus 6Z?
The updates are pushed via OTA in batches. However, if you have not yet received the update via OTA on your smartphone, then you can manually trigger the update by following the below steps:
Head over to Settings.
Then tap About.
Select System update.
Tap on Check for update.

How To Install Firmware Manually On Asus Zenfone 6/Asus 6Z?
There are two methods via which you can manually update the firmware on your phone. However, note that you should probably wait for the official OTA to arrive on your phone. This negates the hassle included in the manual installation process. So, if there is no update available via OTA, then you can try the methods mentioned below or if you are pro-Android users then these steps are good for you. Here is a list of pre-requisites that you need to know before you can manually install the firmware on your phone:
Pre-Requisites
The below-mentioend methods are only supported for Asus ZenFone 6/Asus 6Z.
Make sure to charge your device to 50% or more.
Your device must be running on Stock ROM (for method 1)

Upgrade via Recovery Mode:
Firstly, you need to download the firmware from the above software update table.
Move the update file to your device storage.
Now enter the device into the Recovery mode.
To do this, Turn off your phone.
Hold and long-press the Power button + Volume Up.
In the Recovery menu, select the option Apply update from sd card.
Choose the update.zip OTA firmware file which you have downloaded earlier.
This will begin the installation process.
Now reboot your phone to complete the process.
