List of Official Android 9.0 Pie Supported LG devices

As we know Google always prefer to name the Android version with some dessert, Google finally made a surprise of choosing Android Pie as the 9th iteration of the Android OS after Android Oreo.  In Android Oreo, Google has rolled the Project Treble which enables the developer and OEM to push the OS update very fast. As of now, only the Google devices get the latest OS updates and other manufacturers have to wait for a long time compiling the updates and other data. Google’s Project Treble will put the OS framework separate from the vendor’s implementations and manufacturers will be able to provide latest updates simply by updating the OS framework. OEM’s would be allowed to update the framework without creating any issues for the vendors.

We hope LG will implement the project treble to update every device at a much quicker pace. However, devices which came out by the end of 2016 and 2015 has less chance to receive the Android 9.0 Pie update.

Here we have listed all the Android 9.0 Pie Supported LG device. Before we list, let’s recap some of the features of Android 9.0 Pie.

Comments

  1. I’m going crazy to install Android Pie on my LG G5 H860! But I have no idea how to do that. Need some help.

  2. I am so discombobulated! This might be a dumb a** question to those Android OS techs or data software developers… However, I get confused trying to simply unlock the bootloader on my phone to enable one-click-root capabilities…. So with that being said please don’t judge me ?..
Now my question is, is the LG Stylo 4 the same as the LG Q Stylo 4? Because I’ve never seen or heard of a the LG Q Stylo 4.
Another (unrelated) question if it’s okay, how can I unlock the bootloader on my LG Stylo 4 (Boost Mobile) & then root it. & after it’s successfully rooted, what programs/apps do I need to enable complete OS customization (for example.. system wide custom fonts & themes, as well as to install (or whatever flash means) a custom OS (or Android 9.0)?
Any & all assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
