Infinix Smart 4 Specifications: Overview

The Dual Nano-SIM based Infinix Smart 4 handset has a 6.6-inches IPS LCD display with 720×1600 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 266 PPI. It’s powered by a quad-core Mediatek Helio A22 SoC, paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. While the device packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and 256GB of expandable storage via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The device sports an 8MP rear camera with Dual-LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera as well. It has a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB 2.0, etc. The device is backed by a decent 4,000mAh battery and packs some of the sensors like an accelerometer, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, proximity, compass, an ambient light sensor, etc.

What is FRP?

FRP stands for ‘Factory Reset Protection’. It’s a new security feature from Google for the MediaTek-powered devices which activates when you log in with Gmail ID on your device for the first time ever. After it gets activated, the security feature prevents the phone from using until you provide the same Google Account Credentials. Therefore, if you lost your phone and someone fully reset your device to use it, it will ask for credentials. That’s a good move from Google though but if you forget it, you have to follow the below-mentioned steps to remove it.

Pre-Requirements:

  • Supported for: Infinix Smart 4 device only. Don’t try it on other devices.
  • You will require a PC/Laptop and a USB cable in order to connect your device with the computer.
  • Download SP Flash tool and extract it on your Windows PC/Laptop.
  • Scatter File: Download Infinix Smart 4 Stock ROM from here. It’s required to proceed with the FRP removal process.
  • Download VCOM Drivers and install it on your PC.
  • Download the Infinix USB Drivers on your PC and install it.
  • Charge the phone battery up to 60% at least to reduce the occasional shutdown during installation.
