It often happens with us that we need to copy and paste multiple texts, and it is very tedious to do it one by one. Usually, we can copy and paste only one text item at a time, but Gboard’s clipboard feature will solve our problem, and another advantage is that we don’t have to rely on other third-party clipboard manager apps, So it will save space in your mobile.

How to copy and paste multiple items using GBoard

This article is divided into 2 parts. In the first part, we have explained how to turn on the clipboard of Gboard and, in the second part, how to use it.

Step 1: Enable the Clipboard

First of all, open the app, which allows you to write a message and tap on the text area.

Tip: if you are going to use it daily, you can drag the clipboard icon towards the suggestion bar, so next time you can access it without opening Menu(3 dots).

Step 2: Copy and Paste multiple items using GBoard

Step 1: Copy the message(s) that you want to paste somewhere.

Step 2: Open the app where you want to paste your copied message.

Step 3: Tap on the Google icon from the upper left corner of the keyboard.

Step 4: Tap on More(3 dots) (only if the clipboard icon is not available in the suggestion bar). You will then see a list of your copied messages.

Step 5: Tap the message(s) you want to paste.

Step 3: Pin copied item in Gboard clipboard

Gboard automatically deletes the copied item after 1 hour so if you do not want any message to be deleted, you can pin it ;)

Step 1: Open the clipboard.

Step 2: Long press on the copied Item that you want to pin.

Step 3: Click on the pin icon.

Tip: If you want to pin multiple items at once, click on the pencil icon, select all the items you want to pin and click on the pin icon.

How to delete copied item in Gboard clipboard

Step 1: Open the clipboard.

Step 2: Select the copied Item(s) that you want to delete.

Step 3. Click on the delete icon.

Tip: If you want to delete multiple items at once, click on the pencil icon, select all the items you want to pin, and click on the pin icon.
