- Visit the official Bungie website. Bungie has provided a special transfer page for players.
- Click on the “Begin Transfer” button to start the process.
- Confirm your email address, and review the information about your Battle.net account, including your Guardians and game content.
- Scroll down to the Transfer Agreement and click “Accept.”
- Click “Link Steam” to navigate to the Steam sign-in page.
- Sign in to your Steam account or create a new one.
- Finally, click “I’m Done” to complete the Destiny 2 transfer process to your Steam account.
What will be Transferred to Steam?
Bungie has enabled the transfer of all your saved game progress, including weapons, armor, cosmetic items like Ghosts, Sparrows, emblems, Triumphs, Silver, Bright Dust, expansions, Annual Pass, DLC, and more.
However, it’s unlikely that your friends’ list will transfer to Steam. You’ll need to manually search for your friends on Steam and add them to your friends’ list there.
If you don’t have a Destiny 2 account on the Battle.net platform, simply go to the Steam client, log in to your account, search for the Destiny 2 game, add the game, and install it. The transfer process does not apply to you if you’re new to the game.
