The popular online action role-playing game Fallout 76 released back in 2018. While the game isn’t as popular as it was expected to be, players now have another problem to deal with. According to a few reports on Reddit, players are now experiencing a Blue Screen issue while playing Fallout 76 on the PlayStation 4.
Fallout 76 recently picked up the ‘Wastelanders’ update to engage players again. However, with the Fallout 76 blue screen issue popping up, players are frustrated. The blue screen seems to appear at random and there seems to be no specific trigger for the problem. Furthermore, a couple of reports suggest that the error is appearing just minutes into playing the game.
However, according to other responses on Reddit, few players have indicated that the Fallout 76 blue screen issue isn’t affecting them. At present, the problem seems to be appearing only on the PlayStation 4 platform. And it’s not affecting users on Windows or the Xbox One.
The Fallout 76 blue screen issue can be a result of several errors or bugs combined. Currently, there is no known workaround for players to fix the problem on the PS4. To make matters even more confusing, a few other players on the PS4 have claimed to have not experienced the issue. It makes us wonder whether the Fallout 76 blue screen issue is widespread or is affecting only a few unfortunate players.
Players who are experiencing the problem will have to wait until Bethesda Game Studios releases a patch. Unfortunately, the developers haven’t yet addressed the problem. Therefore, we do not expect a fix any time soon. Errors in games are fairly common and patches are usually rolled out to fix such problems. In case the number of players experiencing the problem rises, the developers may be forced to act quickly. You can also check out our other guides on Fallout 76.
