Vivo is a very innovating company when it comes to mobile features. It certainly caches eyes when someone uses this flagship looking device. Is Vivo iQOO Neo waterproof device?

Is Vivo iQOO Neo waterproof device?

A waterproof device contains special IP ratings. An IP rating is an international standard which is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of modern smartphones. These IP ratings are presented in the form of IP followed by two numbers.

Well, looking upon the official website of Vivo, no waterproof ratings are shown for the device. Remember that this device comes in a mid-range price segment, which makes it incredibly hard to waterproof this device. It is still disappointing that a phone in this price range is not shipping with official waterproof IP68 ratings.

An IP rating is an international standard which is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of modern smartphones. These IP ratings are presented in the form of IP followed by two numbers. The IP68 rating is the best that a smartphone can hold. However, it is important to note that this IP testing is done against fresh water. So you might end with slightly different results against salt water or other liquids such as soft drinks.

Whether your device comes with an IP rating or not, you should always take care while using your smartphone device or tablet around water.
