Google finally rolled the stable version of Android 11 to its Pixel series and the source code for the AOSP build is also up on their site. After rolling the AOSP source code, we all know every manufacturer and custom ROM developer preparing to build their own custom UI based on the same version. Here we will list all the supported devices for LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11.

Well, LinageaOS is a popular and free operating system based on Android which brings a lot more customization than the official stock ROM. The developer behind the LineageOS is all prepared to roll their next version and a successor known as Lineage OS 18.1 to all the supported devices in the market.

Lineage OS 18.1 Features:

This upcoming version will be based on Android 11. Thus, we expect to see the host of new Android 11 features make their way over to Lineage OS 18.1. Some of these features include:

  • Improved dark theme
  • Chat Bubbles
  • Improved Animation Transitions
  • Share to Print
  • 4GB video recording limit removed
  • Better App Permissions and Privacy Control
  • Improved Navigation Gestures
  • New Media Controls

There can be a host of new features that may be added with Lineage OS 18.1. Users can also expect to see enhanced customization options.

LineageOS 18 Release Date:

At the time of writing this piece, there’s no concrete information as to when we can expect to see LineageOS 18.1 release. Although taking into account the previous releases, we expect to see Lineage OS 18.1 be available somewhere between June and July of 2020. This means we can see the upcoming LineageOS build to be released within the next few weeks. Albeit as an early release build or developer preview.
