In its early days, it was known as CyanogenMod and now this ‘lineage’ seems to have been rightly carried forward. If you have an original Oneplus 7 with Android 9 this Lineage flash will not work. You have to be coming from an Android 11 environment (firmware) in order to install Lineage 18.
I installed Oxygen Updater from Google Play Store to update from Android 9 to 10, then from 10 to 11. You have to put the Oxygen Updater in Advanced mode to enable this.
