Xiaomi has almost rolled MIUI 11 for devices in China, whereas Mi CC9 Pro is still stuck with MIUI 10 update. Today Xiaomi started rolling another patch update of MIUI 11.0.5.0 China Stable ROM for Mi CC9 Pro [V11.0.5.0.PFDMIXM]. The update is based on Android 9.0 Pie and released for the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro (Codenamed as ‘tucana’) Chinese variant. The new update brings nothing major changes to the UI. It brings the Android security patch level to October 2019. There is no much info from Xiaomi about the MIUI 11 and Android 10 update. As we speak, this update is live along with Global update.
The update roll out process is in incremental mode and only available for the Chinese Mi CC9 Pro (tucana) variants. It may take some time to roll out globally. You need to wait for the OTA update notification on your device. Otherwise, you can flash the update manually via the Recovery or Fastboot method. The update optimizes the beatify features and fixes the screen turn off issues.
Check for OTA Update Manually
You can also check for OTA update manually on your Mi CC9 Pro to get the latest update. Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Head over to the device Settings on your device > tap on About Phone > go to Software Update.
- If the OTA update is available for your device then tap on Download option.
- Now, tap on the Install button.
- After the installation process, the handset will restart automatically. It may take a few minutes to boot after the update. Wait for it.
