This tool is exclusively for a rooted OnePlus device. This is a pretty obvious fact. When you want to access system Apps, root access is a must. Installing the Tomatot Debloater for OxygenOS 9.0
Before installing the debloater you have to keep a few things in your mind. These are some regular guidelines which we have mentioned below.
- This guide is exclusively for a rooted OnePlus device.
- The device must run on OxygenOS 9 with Android 9 Pie.
- Make sure to install the latest TWRP recovery on your OnePlus device.

Steps To Flash The Tomatot Debloater
Step-1 Download the required Debloater
Step-2 Copy it to your OnePlus device and
Step-3 Reboot your device into recovery mode. To do it, Switch off phone> and then long press the Volume down + Power button until the phone vibrates. Then use the power button to enter the recovery mode.
Step-4 From the TWRP menu, select INSTALL.
Step-5 Browse and select the zip file containing the debloater script
Step-6 Swipe at the bottom to confirm and flash it. The script will now execute and debloat the OxygenOS 9.
Step-7 After it is done, you can select Reboot system again by going to the TWRP menu.
How To Edit the Tomatot Debloater Script
Now, each user has his own preference of Apps when it comes to using an Android smartphone. Flashing the debloater script like Extreme may remove Apps which could be of use to a user. So, the person can modify the script and select which App the script can remove. Here is how you can do it.
Step-1 download any of the three scripts
Step-2 unzip the downloaded file and navigate to META-INF\com\google\android.
Step-3 Open the script named updater-script using any text editor.
Step-4 Line by line each App has been specified. The Apps that are present there will be removed if the Script runs.
Step-5 Removing the entire line to stop the script from removing any App that you may need.
Step-6 Then save your file. Make sure to properly cite the folder name as the command is case sensitive.
