Coming to the internals, the device sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, which is a budget one from the brand. It is built on the 14nm process and has an octa-core setup. The setup includes four Kryo 250 Gold cores that clocks at 1.8GHz, and four Kryo 250 Silver cores that clocks at 1.8GHz. To the GPU side, it sports the Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset pairs with 2, 3, or 4GB of RAM, and it only comes in a single storage variant i.e., in 32GB. It is also expandable via the micro SD card up to 256GB. The device has a hybrid SIM card slot, so if you need to install a micro SD card, you will have to sacrifice a SIM card. It runs on the Android 10 on top of the company’s custom skin.

Talking about the optics side, the device gets a triple rear camera setup that is arranged in a pretty similar to the other phones. It includes a primary 13MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0 and PDAF. The sensor pairs with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and finally, it gets a 5MP macro sensor. The device can shoot videos in 1080p @ 30fps and gets all other features. To the front, the device gets an 8MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0. It also gets an LED flash, and support for HDR photos.

The Vsmart Joy 3 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, and charges over the USB type C port. It also comes with support for 18W fast charging tech. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, FM Radio, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, and USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also support for face unlock. It is available in Pine Green, Denim Blue, and Black color options. Even with the massive battery, it weighs only 193 grams.

Steps To Root Vsmart Joy 3 via Magisk

First of all, you should unlock the bootloader on Vsmart Joy 3. Then you can continue with the next steps.

Unlocking the device bootloader and installing root will void your phone warranty (if applicable). The process also will wipe out all the internal data. Therefore, take a complete backup of device data at first before doing anything. Download Stock ROM and Extract the Boot Image

Download ADB and Fastboot files and extract them in the C:/drive. (Windows/MAC)
Download and Install Android USB Drivers.
Download Latest Vsmart Joy 3 Stock ROM

Once you have downloaded the exact firmware file based on your device model number, you can extract the boot.img file to patch it via Magisk manager app.

1. How to Extract and Patch Boot Image using Magisk?

First of all, download and extract the ROM to your PC.
Attach your device via USB cable and copy only the boot.img file from the extracted folder to your device storage
Launch Magisk Manager. When a popup appears asking to install Magisk, select INSTALL and choose install again.
Tap on “Patch Boot Image File”.
Navigate to internal storage and select your phone’s boot image that you transferred earlier.
Wait for a couple of seconds. Magisk will start patching the boot image.
Once the boot image has been patched, copy the “patched_boot.img” from the internal storage and replace it in the ADB fastboot extracted ROM folder on your PC.

Now you can follow the second step to flash the patched boot image file.

2. How To Install the Patched Boot Image on Vsmart Joy 3

We assume that you have already downloaded the ADB & Fastboot tool from the link given above.
Now, extract the ADB fastboot tool, then move the patched boot image to the same folder.
Hold the Shift key and right-click on the mouse to open the command window/PowerShell.
Next, enter the following command:
- Flash the “patched_boot.img” to install Magisk and root your Android device:

fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img
```
- For devices with A/B partition system, use the following commands:
```
fastboot flash boot_a patched_boot.img

fastboot flash boot_b patched_boot.img
```
  Please replace [patched_boot.img] with the name of the boot image file you downloaded followed by the .img extension.
The flashing process will begin. Once done, run
```
fastboot reboot
```

How to Verify if your phone has a systemless root?

Download and install the Magisk Manager app APK, and launch it.
To verify that you have a systemless root, check the top of the screen and if you see all options with Green Tick which means you have successfully rooted and bypassed SafteyNet.
