Check for OTA Updates Manually
The OTA update will roll out via batches and may take some time. However, if you are not receiving the update, you can manually check for it. Make sure to charge the device battery up to 50% at least and connect the device to a working Wi-Fi connection. Then go to the device Settings > System Update > Check for the updates. If the new update is available for your device, then download and install it.
Steps to Install T-Mobile Moto G7 Play Stock Firmware:
Before going to the installation process, make sure to follow all the pre-requirements and install all the necessary drivers and tools on your PC.
Pre-Requirements:
- The ROM file is supported T-Mobile Moto G7 Play device only. Don’t try it on other devices.
- You will require a computer and a USB Cable.
- Download and Install the latest Motorola USB Drivers for PC.
- Download and extract the ADB fastboot tool on your PC (Fastboot Method).
- Charge your device battery up to 60% at least.
- Take a full backup of your device data.

- Now, head over to the folder where you’ve extracted the ADB and Fastboot Tools earlier.
- If you have already downloaded the Stock ROM file, move it into the ADB folder on your PC.
- Reboot your device into Stock Recovery Mode.
- Select Apply Update from ADB from the Stock Recovery mode.
- Next, connect your phone with the PC via a USB cable.

- Go to the device Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number 7 Times to enable Developer options.
