The display has a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch (ppi) which makes it quite a sharp panel for the price it’s asking. It is obviously still a standard 60Hz display which is understandable at this price point. The Redmi 9 Prime has thin side bezels with a slightly thicker chin and a tiny waterdrop-style notch that holds the front-facing camera.
The Redmi 9 Prime comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 clocked at 2GHz which is a great budget processor. The octa-core processor is great for handling everyday activities such as using social media apps and playing casual games. The Redmi 9 Prime also comes with 4GB of RAM which might seem less but is well-complimented with all the other specifications inside it. Powering everything is a giant 5020 mAh battery which can last you for over 2 days on a single charge.
On the rear, the Redmi 9 Prime sports a quad-camera setup (13+8+5+2 MP) which is mediocre, to say the least. It takes good photos when given an ample amount of light but just doesn’t expect it to beat the likes of the Poco X2 or Redmi Note 9 Pro. Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock

Instructions
- Turn off your phone and boot into the Fastboot mode.
- You need to connect your device to your PC/Laptop with the help of USB Cable while in Fastboot mode.
- Download the Mi Unlock Tool from the above section.
- Extract the contents of the zip file and open the miflash_unlock.exe file.
- Log in to the Mi account within the tool.
- The tool will now verify whether your phone is eligible for bootloader unlocking.
- Once the phone is verified, the tool will show that the “Phone connected“.
- Now click the Unlock button within the tool.
- You will be prompted with a new message where you need to click on the Unlock anyway button.
