  1. My iOS 16.5 iPad update is stuck on “Preparing Update” for an hour so far with no end in sight, and doing a hard reset doesn’t work.

I have an IPAD 3 and the very same day that I installed IOS 16.5 the screen gets black and it takes me ages to manage to restart it and after this it works for 1 – 3 minutes and then the screen goes black again. If I press the touch / start button I can see a white light and that’s it. No icons or text or anything. Is it an operating system issue (due to 16.5) or a mechanical issue? I did not install any new software the last few weeks.
