Fix: Always On Display Options not Working on OnePlus device running Android 12
Solution 1: Update AOD and Switch to Scheduled or Power saving Mode
- Download the OnePlus AOD app on your phone.
- Launch the app, select UPDATE and wait for the installation to finish.
- Open the Settings app and got o Personalisations -> Always On Display.
- Tap on Display options and either select Scheduled or Power saving mode. If you select the Scheduled option, you’ll need to specify the time during which the AOD feature will remain enabled.
Solution 2: Reset Your OnePlus Phone
Some users were able to fix issues with the Always on Display on their Android 12-based OnePlus phones after resetting their phones. Please note that resetting the device might remove all data on your phone. Therefore, take a complete backup on your phone before resetting your phone.
