1. Use a Dedicated GPU (Graphics Card)
If you’re using a high-end graphics card on your Windows PC but the game is lagging or getting a lower FPS count or having a white screen then make sure to use the dedicated GPU which is externally connected. Sometimes the game system may use only integrated GPU which comes by default with some CPUs. Though it can run games a little bit, you won’t get extreme gaming performance. So, check out manually and follow the steps below:
- Press the Windows + X keys to open the Quick Link Menu.
- Click on Device Manager from the list > Double-click on Display adapters.
- Right-click on the Intel HD graphics card (integrated) > Select Disable device.
- It should turn off the integrated graphics card from getting accessed by any program.
Then you can follow the steps below to select your external graphics card for the respective game manually.
- Click on the Start menu > Search for Graphics Settings and get into it.
- Inside this, ensure the Desktop app is selected > Click on Browse.
- File Explorer window will open and head over to the installed Steam folder.
- Go to Steamapps > Common > WWE 2K22 folder > Select the WWE2K22.exe application.
- Click on Add to include it in the list.
- Now, search for the game in the list > Click on Options of WWE 2K22.
- Then click on High Performance.
- Click on Save then try launching the game again to check for the issue.
For Nvidia Graphics:
- Right-click on the desktop screen > Click on NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Click on 3D settings > Select Manage 3D settings in the left pane.
- Select the Program Settings tab > Choose to WWE 2K22 from the drop-down list.
- Now, select a High-performance NVIDIA processor.
- Save changes and reboot the PC to apply changes.
For AMD Graphics:
Switchable Graphics offers several standard operating modes and can be configured to run a specific application using the desired GPU.
- Right-click on the Desktop screen > Select AMD Radeon Settings from the context menu.
- Now, click on System > Select Switchable Graphics.
