1. Error Code FH001

This specific error code indicates that the Forza Horizon 5 game failed to load or initialize the Target Hardware Profiler DLL. This happens due to the missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables on the PC in most scenarios. You can follow the steps below to install it:

  • Make sure to open the web browser on the PC.
  • Visit this Microsoft link and download the latest Visual C++ Redistributable file.
  • Now, install the executable application file on the PC and reboot the system to apply changes.

Please Note: Some other initialization errors may happen due to the THP DLL failing to initialize. If you’re still receiving this particular FH001 error even after installing the Visual C++ Redistributables then make sure to contact Forza Motorsport Support and submit a ticket with your DXDIAG log file so the developers can investigate the issue deeply.

2. Error Code FH101

This particular error code appears whenever your PC specification (CPU) doesn’t have at least 4 logical processors. So, you’ll need a minimum of 4 CPU logical processors to avoid such an error. To be precise, the logical processor (logical core or CPU) is the number of cores that are divided using hyper-threading to allow multiple instructions to threads to perform tasks better. Forza Horizon 5 requires a minimum Intel i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU.

Whereas the Intel i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU is actually recommended for better gaming results. The higher generation processors will be more powerful and efficient to handle FH5 tasks smoothly. Obviously, that’ll also require better GPU and RAM.

3. Error Code FH201

If in case, you’re encountering the FH201 Error Code with the Forza Horizon 5 game on the Windows computer while launching or even during the gameplay sessions then you may need to upgrade your graphics card. 4. Error Code FH202

This specific error code indicates that your graphics card has less than 2GB of VRAM which isn’t compatible to run the Forza Horizon 5 title. Make sure to use a graphics card that’s compatible and has higher VRAM up to 8GB. Even if your GPU has 4GB of VRAM, you’ll be able to run the game.

5. Error Code FH203
