Updated on March 16, 2020: The Chinese OEM Xiaomi started pushing MIUI 11.0.5.0 Global Stable ROM for Redmi S2/Y2 with software version V11.0.5.0.PEFMIXM. This update is still based on Android 9.0 Pie. The new MIUI 11.0.5.0 update (Android 9.0 Pie) for Redmi S2/Y2 is rolling out globally via OTA in a phased manner and will take a few days to appear on all the units.
