Updated on January 04, 2021: Today Xiaomi rolled the Android 10 update to Redmi 7 in India with software version V11.0.3.0.QFLINXM. The update also brings December 2020 security patch.

Today Xiaomi rolled MIUI 11.0.6.0 India Stable ROM for Redmi 7 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Here you can easily download and install the firmware update on your handset.

The new software update bumps up a new software version V11.0.6.0.PFLINXM which brings the April 2020 Android Security Patch Level with increased system security and new app lock support for all applications. The April 2020 patchset fixes a major security vulnerability in the media framework that could enable a remote attacker by executing an arbitrary code on your device. In order to upgrade your Redmi 7 Indian variant to this software version, you should check OTA updates.
