Updated on November 13, 2020: After rolling the MIUI 12, Xiaomi started rolling the September 2020 security patch for the Redmi 6 Pro in India with software version V12.0.4.0.PDMMIXM.

Updated on August 23, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled MIUI 12 update for Redmi 6 Pro in India with software version V12.0.2.0.PDMMIXM. The update comes with new security patch and an all-new feature of MIUI 12. It is still based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Updated on May 16, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled MIUI 11.0.7.0 India Stable ROM for Redmi 6 Pro based on Android 10. Here you can easily download and install the firmware update on your handset.

The new software update bumps up a new software version V11.0.7.0.PDMMIXM which brings the April 2020 Android Security Patch Level with increased system security and new app lock support for all applications. The April 2020 patchset fixes a major security vulnerability in the media framework that could enable a remote attacker by executing an arbitrary code on your device. In order to upgrade your Redmi 6 Pro Indian variant to this software version, you should check OTA updates.

Manually Check Software Update (OTA)
