ABOUT MOTO Z PLAY

Lenovo has launched their new smartphone Motorola Moto Z and Motorola Moto Z Play on October in India. Motorola Moto Z Play is also known as Motorola Moto Z Play Droid in USA. Motorola Moto Z Play is powered by Snapdragon 625 and paired with 3GB RAM.

Motorola Moto Z Play sports a 16-Megapixel primary camera on the rear with dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 5-Megapixel front shooter for selfies with LED flash. Motorola Moto Z Play has 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset with Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 506 GPU paired with 3GB RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The handset runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow).

Other Connectivity options include Dual Sim, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G. It also has Fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by a Non-removable Li-Ion 3510 mAh battery.

Steps to Install Stock ROM on Moto Z Play

  1. Enable ‘USB debugging’ option from Settings –> Developer options –>. (To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.)
  2. Now go to the folder where you have extracted the ADB and Fastboot Tools
  3. Download Android Nougat for Moto Z Play from above and save it in ADB folder.
  4. Now Reboot Moto Z Play to Recovery Mode.
  5. Select Apply Update from ADB.
  6. Plug the phone into PC using USB Cable, then open a command prompt window by pressing Shift Key + Right Mouse Click
    AMD COMMAND
  7. Now execute the below command in CMD screen.
    adb sideload Filename.zip
  8. Wait until Installation process Completes.
  9. Once the Installation completed. Reboot the Phone.
