It brings plenty of popular characters in cartoonish graphics that look cool enough. However, some players are facing the MultiVersus Disconnected Error or the Connection Lost error message while trying to get into the matches in multiplayer. It’s quite frustrating.

Currently, the game is in the early access stage with an open beta program that basically indicates developers will take some time to make it stable enough. So, the MultiVersus game may be buggy right now that’s troubling a lot of players no matter whether they’re using PCs or gaming consoles. Whereas the connection lost error message can be related to the server connectivity issue which may happen due to the server maintenance or outage technically.

Fix: MultiVersus Disconnected Error

Fix: MultiVersus Disconnected Error

If we take a close look at the full error message, it says “Connection Lost, You have lost the connection to the internet. Try checking your networking settings.” while trying to load the game. Well, there may be some other possible reasons applicable such as a poor internet connection, issues with the installed game files, an outdated game version, issues with the antivirus or firewall protection, etc. Luckily, we’ve shared some methods to fix this issue.

1. Check MultiVersus Server Status

First of all, you should check whether your game servers are working fine or not. If the game server isn’t operational at that moment when you’re trying to load the match then you may encounter the server disconnected error or connection lost error whatsoever. You should follow the official MultiVersus Twitter handle and check for the latest info or updates to ensure if there is a server issue or not.

If there is an issue, just wait for a couple of hours then try again. If in case, there is no issue with the game server then just head over to the next method.

2. Check your Internet Connection

You should also check out your internet connection because if it’s slow or unstable then the game server connectivity may get interrupted for sure. Contact your ISP to get technical support or just try power cycling your Wi-Fi router manually. Turn off the router and unplug the power cable from it > Wait for a minute and then plug back the power cable in > Turn on the router and check if the problem is still bothering you or not.

You can also try using a different Wi-Fi network to check for the issue. If you’re only using the wired (ethernet) connection then you can unplug the ethernet cable and reconnect it.

3. Update the MultiVersus game

You should check for the game update and then install it manually because an outdated game version can trigger several issues with the performance. To do so:
