With smartphones coming with new features every year, companies try their best to protect their smartphones from water and dust. Water and dust can damage your smartphones if your smartphone manufacturer has not put any IP rating on your device. In India, the most popular and widest range of smartphones are in the mid-range price range. People who want a phone with almost everything in a mid-range will find the Vivo T1 Pro 5G to be a good buy.
Vivo just announced the Vivo T1 Pro 5G smartphone. The phone is very feature-rich and very attractive from the outside. It is a mid-range smartphone & has received good reviews from tech reviewers. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G’s official website makes no mention of dustproof or waterproof measures. But still, these days, some smartphones are waterproof to some extent. We will test that out and see if the latest Vivo T1 Pro 5G is waterproof and dustproof or not.

Vivo T1 Pro 5G Waterproof And Dust Resistant Test
In this test, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G was put in the box of water for 2 minutes to see if it got any damage due to the water. But, surprisingly, there is no mention of water resistance or an IP rating. The phone survived the water test. However, after prolonged water submersion, there were visible defects in the display and the phone died. After the test, we can conclude that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G does not have waterproofing!
Vivo T1 Pro 5G is not a water-resistant phone on paper. But it does have some durability and is resistant to water. But we will strongly suggest keeping your Vivo T1 Pro 5G away from the water if you want a safe operation of the phone. Because Sometimes phones are made to resist water only for a few meters. And this is not known if No IP rating is mentioned by By Vivo.
Note: IP ratings are the standard set for the protection of anything from water and solid particles (dust). So there are ratings given to every smartphone after testing them with dust and water. IP 68 is the highest rating. IP 68 means you have complete protection from the water and dust.
Should you take your VIVO T1 PRO 5G underwater
So, the short answer is No, you should not. You can only bring your smartphone with you while in water when your smartphone has an official IP rating which is not mentioned here in this case. You should keep your Vivo T1 Pro 5G smartphone away from the water and dust.
VIVO T1 Pro 5G is a solid smartphone with a beautiful design and a decent camera for the budget phone. But it does a lot more than what it says on paper. There is no official IP rating for the smartphone but the developers have made some effort to make it resistant to some amount of water and dust.
