The recently introduced Vivo X50 series is about to set foot on the market in the approaching months. Before they arrive in the market, we can’t get the devices and run them on waterproof testing. All we can do to figure if any of these phones are waterproof. Look over If the company has mentioned something about waterproofing or IP ratings. With the official IP (Ingress Rating), one can determine If a device is waterproof. Unfortunately, there are no signs by Vivo announcing IP ratings of the phone.

So we can conclude the X50 series is not waterproof. Even X50 Pro Plus is not a waterproof device, with such a high price. Besides the company, marketers have come forward and claimed that Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro Plus are splash-proof devices. That again leaves us with another final conclusion. Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro Plus, none of them are waterproof devices; they only can endure water splashes. Vivo has developed an array of waterproof devices from the past years.
