Considering their high price, there is a chance that both the devices will have a waterproof body. To check this, we checked the official site of Oppo. We looked for an IP rating of both the phones. The IP rating is an international standard by various testing companies to check the durability of mobile phones. Well, there is no mention of the IP rating of both the phones on the Oppo website.
If the phones are waterproof, they have an IP rating of IP68, but these phones have no mention of IP rating. Now, it means the phones are not waterproof, but still, we are going to conduct a waterproofing test on both the devices. Before the test results, let’s have a look into the specifications of both the devices. We took both the phones and put them into a bucket of clean water. After 1 minute we took out the phones. After running the test, we came to the below-mentioned results.

Camera – The camera is working absolutely fine.
Touch screen – The Touch screen is working smoothly.
Speaker and mic – the speaker is fine, but the mic has a problem with capturing voice. When we recorded voice using a mic, it has low volume, but after letting the phone dry naturally, it became fine.

Camera – The camera is working perfectly.
Touch screen – touch screen is smooth, just like before.
Speaker and mic – The speaker and mic are working.
Conclusion
As we can see, both phones survived the 1-minute waterproofing test. Oppo Reno 4 5G showed some problems in mic, but it became normal after drying naturally, But it means both phones are venerable to water.
Both the phones are up to mark, and they showed that they are not completely waterproof, but they can survive a splash of water. Also, If the user takes their phone out of the water as soon as possible, it can be saved.
