After waiting for a couple of months, Xiaomi has finally released the much-awaited Android 10 update for the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite units that bumps up a new software version V11.0.2.0.QDLMIXM. Previously, it was alleged that Android 10 development hasn’t in the process for the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite and so many interested users have disappointed with it. But as the new year has started, the rumors are clearing. Now, you can download and install Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 10 update by following this guide.

Check OTA Update

If in case, you don’t want to wait further, you can manually search for the latest available firmware update notification on your handset. In order to do that, head over to the phone Settings > System > System Update.

If there is a new update available, just grab it. Make sure to charge the battery more than 50% and connect your device to a Wi-Fi network if possible.

Steps to Install Android 10 update on Mi A2 Lite [V11.0.2.0.QDLMIXM]

Flashing the TWRP Flashable Zip

Step-1 Unlock the bootloader on your Mi A2 Lite

Step-2 First you must have TWRP recovery installed on the Mi A2 Lite. Through TWRP we will flash the ROM zip file

Step-3  Download and move the flashable ROM file into your phone storage.

Step-4 You have to enter your device into Recovery Mode.

Step-5 If you have backed up your device data then it’s great. Otherwise, you can create a Nandroid backup.

Step-6 In the TWRP main screen tap on Install. Then browse for the ROM zip file and select it.

Step-7 Swipe to confirm and Swipe again to flash.

Step-8 Now Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache.

Step-9 Finally you have to Reboot the device.

How to Install the Fastboot ROM.?

  1. Download the fastboot firmware zip file.
  2. Extract the file with .bat extension file from the ROM zip file.
  3. You will need ADB and fastboot for this process. So, install it from the link given above.
  4. Now enter the Mi A2 Lite into Fastboot mode by pressing Power + Vol Down Button at a time.
  5. Then connect the device to the PC/Laptop
  6. In the fastboot, select the ROM file with .bat extension and flash it.
