Well, the update is still based on Android 9.0 Pie and there is no info when the company will roll Android 10 for the Mi 9. The latest firmware update for Xiaomi Mi 9 brings the April 2020 Android Security Patch Level for the European variant. It mostly increases system security and offers some bug fixes as well.
